It’s my first Kandao camera and it has been awesome to action water sport. Can create amazing videos to Instagram . Totally recommend

Purchased a Qoocam 3 Ultra fall of 2024. Qoocam includes 8K 10 bit HDR editing software for free! It's really fast on the M4 Mac mini and I can post directly to YouTube which shows up as 8K 360 HDR content online. YouTube has a built-in 360 video viewer which works from a phone, TV, or PC. Fun!

This camera its awesome! But few problems i noticed but they are not crucial for ppl who already use other cameras. Good sides: * Reasonable price * A 10 bit, log, lot of useful settings and * The photo quality is very impressive! * Video is smooth especially with a gimbal. * Software to export is very good, export fast and stabilized footage. * Connect to phone very fast and easy * Clipping warnings very nice feature. Downsides: * The battery drain very fast (buy 2 more OR use own power bank with fast charge) * Short cable (i have own better one) * Useless bag (this is a really bad move to push you to buy a protection caps) * Hight ISO is very noisy. . . i wold like to limit the ISO to get less. Gopro has in settings min/max ISO i hope they will do the same. Overall i glad the camera it self its not very expensive and has many useful features. Its small and easy to use.

This is my first QooCam camera, it is 3 Ultra. Very well made and thought out product. I am coming from Insta 360 X3 and I like QooCam better as finally I was able to get my hands on a camera that does 360 10 bit HDR (HLG). I like image processing of this camera as the video comes out clear with very little to no grain , stitching is also great, it supports 8k 30fps and 5.7k 60fps , which is up there with top specs as of right now. There is one thing I wanted to request as an additional accessory for this camera, that is ND filters. ND8, ND16 , ND32 and ND64. If I could get ND filters for this camera and then have an ability to select SS (shutter speed), i.e. for 5.7k 60fps I would set SS to 120. That would greatly improve motion blur and allow creation of professional level video. Just wanted to share this idea with you guys. Thank you for making this wonderful product. Take care, Mike.

This is my second Qoocam camera. Before I used Qoocam 8K. The image quality in the new one is amazing to compare to the old one. I really like removable batteries. With Qoocam 8k I had issues with the built in battery. At this time in Qoocam 8k the battery is dead, and I can't replace it. There are some issues with Qoocam 3 Ultra that can be fixed with firmware updates. One of them - the camera turns on when you plug a charging cable. It is very annoying. Especially when the battery drained out. The camera turns on and off by itself while trying to charge the battery. Another thing - I'm missing lower shutter limit as it was on Qoocam 8k. I would like to limit the lowest shutter speed at 1/100 so, the image doesn't get blurry when I walk through dark places. I hope these issues will be fixed in future firmware updates.

Regarding the issues you mentioned, you can disable the 'USB Powered Startup' option in the Camera Settings. I shot a large tour that combines 360 videos and time lapses, which I had shot with an X4 three weeks earlier, and I like the workflow in comparison. The image quality is better, but the color needs much work. It would be nice if the Studio had some image controls for color. I still want to see how it does in low light. I tried to upload a video from the shoot and it kept giving me an error. It never got too hot. The battery life was ok, I shot 5-6 hrs with 2 batteries. The selfie stick is a little loud raising & lowering. It would be nice to have a battery in the stick with a button to control the camera. Overall, I like where you are and can see things that can improve the product. Keep improving; don't rest on your laurels.
